You have 2 choices, do it yourself or have a company do it for you. It don't take as long if you use a company and you will save yourself allot of headaches. But on the other side you can save money doing it yourself. I used crb credit for my credit repair. I was 35k in debt. They managed to lower my credit score and resolved some of the major debts on my credit report.

I think that repairing your own credit is much better than going for credit repair agencies. This is because, you can do the same thing that the credit repair companies will do to repair your credit. Now if you do it yourself, you can save the money which would have otherwise given to credit repair agencies and use it to pay off the outstanding debts. Even the Federal Trade Commission recommends to repair your own credit.

TEK...you said this company you went through LOWERED your Credit score? Was that a misprint? Who is CRB?..I've never heard of them. CAROL....I never knew the FTC recommends for us to repair our own credit. Can you please tell me where you saw this piece of information? Thanks. It seems like if you are going through any kind of Repair company that you are throwing away ALOT of money just on the fees they may charge you.
