Judgment Satisfaction not on Credit Reports

I checked my credit reports, and found two judgments, that I satisfied. I have proof of satisfaction. They have been satisfied for FIVE years. The responsible parties failed to notify the credit bureaus. What is the process for remedying this, if any? Thanks In advance.

If you have proof that they are satisfied then you should send copies of the proof along with a dispute letter to all three credit reporting agencies, this should do the trick, let us know how it all works out, goodluck.

Hi sw1w2
Satisfying a judgment does not necessarily mean that the listing will be removed from your credit report. Judgment once listed in the credit report stays there for seven from the date the judgment was filed but the listing will change to "paid judgment" in your credit report after you satisfy a judgment. Now since you have already satisfied the judgment, all you need to do is to send a copy of the statement which will prove that you have satisfied the judgment along with a dispute letter to the three CRA, by certified mail and ask them to remove the listing from the credit report.
