Currently have 4 pdl's and I am in NC (100% illegal in my state). I paid more than the principles on all 4 loans and asked for a refund of my overpayment. Can I threaten them to seek a lawyer to recover overpayment from my previous loans, if the do not refund me on my current loans? Talking about $3000, I have over paid in principles over 2 years.
Yes, you can. Why did you even bother paying them more than the principal knowing they're illegal?

You may ask them for the refund, but it fully depends on their discretion whether or not to return back your money. You have nothing to do in this regard.
