Subject: How to get SPLIT CREDIT REPORT fixed at Equifax.

Split Equifax Credit Report. I am having a hard time getting Equifax to "un-split" my credit report. I had Credit Watch and it shows information that has not been updated since 2006. I am being denied credit and know I have some late payments and new accounts, but I cannot see them when I login or request my credit report, it keeps showing me the outdated split report, not the actual, current data. I have a PO Box and that is one of the causes of split reports I heard. HELP!

Yes, since you have a split credit report on equifax, you will have two credit reports and the tradelines will be distributed between the credit reports. Therefore you will have two credit score and you do not know which credit score will be viewed by your potential creditor. All that you can do is to call the credit bureau or sent a certified mail to the bureau and get it corrected.

I agree with Carol on this point. Your report is updated but it may be a different report where it is updated. So you should immediately contact your credit bureau and get it corrected and get all details in a single credit report. But even if the credit bureau does not get it corrected you may complain against them to the FTC and the state AG.

I would def. contact the credit company and see if it has been updated yet. And Anthony has stated you can file a complaint if it does not get corrected after you contact them.
