Welcome to our forum, first off wanted to let you know that you are not alone, many people have trouble with these companies. You really need to go to the debt forums, just go to the top of the page and click the debt button. You will find that their are many people there, just like you dealing with this same issue, people there are freindly and willing to help you. You will need to give them the information that they need to help, like what companies they were? Were they store front or internet loans, also I am going to pm you the link where you can find Michigans stand on pdls, they are legal there, so check your pm's here and then go to the debt forum and post your question as well. goodluck and hang in there, you will make it out of this mess.

Everytime I hear payday lenders my first thought is "OOOHHh NNoo". Please take goodnatured's advice and go to the debt forum. These type of companies have been making so many peoples lives miserable. You can get some good solid advice on how to handle this situation from HONEST people who have been there before. Hang in there.

I got an ad, in the mail, about a PDL. Looked pretty good ( YEAH...RIGHT!!). Said they "only charged $20.00 per $100.00 barrowed." This is actually alittle less than other PDL's out there. Anyway...as I was reading the Fine Print, it stated the PDL Company would charge a "ONE TIME APPLICATON FEE of $30.00" ( reguardless of your 'approval' status) as soon as you type in your bank information. How can companies legally do this? It's a disgrace!!

That is why they are called scams. The offers they show are lucrative but it is on you to read the fine prints.

Sometimes, I'm TEMPTED to get a PDL, if I'm having a 'bad' month. But.....I keep telling myself, what I DON'T have to pay ( their HIGH %) if I DON'T get one. Sure don't want to get into that cycle again.

We both know the pain it will cause in the long run sdchargers, hang off as long as you can and you will be better off.

I just got an email from a lender that I used some time ago, they are going to send me a card and with a phone call they will load $500 on the card, how convienent is that. It is 500 fast cash, has anyone dealt with this company? I have, I did not have any problems with them but I paid them off very quickly, just wondering what the card is all about.

I thought I would keep it in my wallet for an emergency, I have been doing pretty good about not over spending these days. I want to get far enough a head here in the next month or so to start making double payments on my car and get rid of that payment. I don't know what has made me focus so clearly lately, but I have. It is so much more comforting not being under the stress of the pay day loan hell.

Could you call the m and get a few details? That would be my advice. What is the company who is doing this?
