Try calling 1-800-797-6093

Vital Recovery called me for several months. It was always an automated call/message. Within that automated call/message, a name (not mine) was inserted. I returned the call two or three times to let them know that they had reached a WRONG NUMBER...the calls continued until I called the authorities*. The calls have stopped! Yeah, VR had the wrong number.

*Advice: If you're being harrassed, call or write your State Representative*.

Hello Richard,

In case the harassment continues dont feel shy to write to the State AG's office. You can lodge a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as well.

Hi crusader,

File a compliant with the AG. That will be fine.

Vital recovery is the most rude agent that I ever went through. I just hate dealing with collection but I just got to pay it off. The agent and supervisor are not being professional at their job.

You should send a debt validation letter and make sure they have the right to collect the debt, nothing better than to be able legally to say NO to a nasty collector.

BBB lists them as a fair business. Though, many people got hurt.
Understand that is this country.
Can someone do something?

Wed, 11/26/2008 - 17:19 Permalink

Yes be sure you do not pay anything until the debt is validated. Also any chance that this debt may be passed SOL? I have heard about Vital recovery but not much.

Yes, I too found that BBB lists Vital Recovery as a satisfactory, but satisfactory rating does not mean that they have all positive. BBB marks a business as satisfactory only if it has addressed all cases referred to it by the BBB in a proper manner. If you go through the BBB site, you will find that there are over 100 complaints against the company with the BBB.

Yeah, who at Vital Recovery is blowing who at the GA BBB?? What the hell is the requirement for an A rating by the BBB? Apparently illegal harassment, that's what.

Christopher Schuler and his ilk are as bad as Bernie Madoff. There is a special place in hell for him, his family and all his employees. Anyone who takes money to do this is as evil as it gets. May they rot in hell forever.

My new tactic is to call them back and scream into the phone fifteen times in a row every time they call. Just scream like crazy -- no words -- just scream at the top of your lungs. If everyone did that every time they called, they'd stop.

Hi Barbara,

What is the name of the collection agency trying to collect from you. You should immediately send them a debt validation letter, through certified mail requesting a return receipt.

They can't continue with their collection process until they validates the debt. If they fail to answer to your validation letter, you can dispute this item with the credit bureaus.

Thanks,

Aaron
