Yep, you can put all the details in the complaint form and they act pretty quickly on it.

I found that all of these companys seem to do what gets them $$. If a bad BBB report keeps customers away then, they will fight to keep it in good standing

I agree with you goodnatured. BBB is the place where all CAs and credit repair agencies try to keep themselves in good records. This is because it is widely accepted that BBB provides the most unbiased information about a company. Getting a BBB Accreditation is also not a very easy task for a company until and unless they meet the desired standards.

That is what I heard. BBB is unbiased so going their and checking up on a company or reporting one is good to be able to do.

It is always good to have an outsider monitoring things, it keeps us on our toes.

Yes, BBB gives an unbiased information about the collection agencies or the credit repair agencies. I think that one can always rely on a BBB accredited business. Consumers can also file a complaint against a credit repair agency or a collection agency if they have any bad experience with any business. There are many parameters based on which BBB rates a business as satisfactory or unsatisfactory.

I think that more people should reply on these fraudulent companies. At least some of their power would be taken away from them and leave room for the good honest companies who will actually help a person out.

right on fireyone, we have the tools right at our finger tips and so many people are unaware that they are even there, it is sites like this and word of mouth that will get the information out there to more folks.

Yep and the more people that do it the more jun collectors we could weed out. You would think in todays world of credit they would have some kind of education on this. A add from BBB on tv oe something that says before you sign up for this or that come to our website and check them out. You see places like dateline or the today show doing specials on drug use, child porn, and other very important things. They need to do a special every once in a while on avoiding the dangers of credit cards.
