Hi, about 9 years ago I lost my job, and became homeless. It took me about 9 years to re-establish myself in my community. Now I have a stable job, a nice place to live. I went and applied for a car loan hoping I would get one. But it appears my credit report contained next to nothing on it! I have had loans through GMAC, wells fargo, saabscania, a discover card, and a chase mastercard. numerous dept store cards. and the last loan I had was through ford motor credit, in which i let that car go to repossesion as due to my sidtuation at that time 9 years ago. Not even my side loans through small finance companies were on it, the good and the bad. WHAT HAPPENED??? All i was told i had on the report were several judgments by [text removed as per forum rules]. is this unusual?

Hi alaskaairlines,

Welcome to this community :)

You need to pull a copy of your credit report. You need to provide more details on your debts, and the judgments, the dates, etc. These informations are needed to help you in your problems.

You will get a copy of your credit report from www.annualcreditreport.com or Myfico.com.

Thanks,

Aaron

Get a copy of your credit report and find out missing the information. If you find out that your credit information is missing from your credit file, try and correct the errors. Check with your creditors to find out whether they have reported to the credit bureaus about your positive and negative information.
Contact your creditors, if you find your information is missing and request them to report this information to the credit bureaus. You can take help of credit agencies and they will add your verifiable accounts for a fee.

Did you check all of the CR's? Actaully..one CR may have, or NOT have, the same as another. I know, it's crazy. Maybe you can look at it THIS way...all (if not most) of your 'negative' reports aren't there. But..I'm not sure how the rest of it ('postive' accounts) can disappear. No one has your credit information, do they?..just a thought.
