Negative listings not removed after pay for delete agreement

Hi,

I recently pulled all 3 reports, and through the painstaking process of calling up collection agencies, managed to coax a few of them into pay for deletion letters. I received the letters via fax. However, a couple of months later I found that 3 of these debts were still on my reports, only with an updated "paid in full, closed" status. I still have the 3 agencies' letters stating that they will delete all information with the bureaus.

My question is, what now? Should I send these letters to the bureaus now? Should I send them back to the CAs? I'm afraid that if I send them to the bureaus it will be me admitting to the debt. I say this because I've read that nobody can delete accurate negative information off a report. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Yes, you should send the PFD letters attached along with the dispute letters to the credit bureaus. The PFD agreements will act as proof. You are not required to send these letters to the CAs.

You should also attach copies of your payment receipts along with the dispute letters.

yes, this is a MOV letter situation. I would just send the deletion letter. the CRAs are kind of snotty about PFDs

I don't think you would have any trouble with he CB's removing this debt,..because..you have proof of what the CA's have sent you. I actually had a debt, on my CR, removed this way.
