Naomi, What are you trying to freeze? Has your identity been stolen? If this is the case all three bureaus will assist you if you contact them. If this is the case you need to do this ASAP.

Yes, if you place a security freeze with Experian or Transunion, there is a charge of $10. For placing a security freeze with Experian, you can visit the link www.experian.com/freeze or send a request for a security freeze by certified mail to Experian Security Freeze, P.O. Box 9554, Allen, TX 75013.
For placing Security freeze with Transunion, you can send request to Fraud Victim Assistance Department, PO. Box 6790 Fullerton, CA 92834 by certified mail.

You can also call Experian at 1 888 397 3742 and Transunion at 1-888-909-8872 and place the security freeze request.

Security freeze is free for victims of identity theft.
