HI Sara,

Yes, delinquent child support account is very much reportable. This affects one’s credit rating negatively. Not paying the child support money can cause you to be reported to the credit reporting agencies. You will need to settle the account before you can become eligible for any kind of loans. If you are being taken to court due to missed child account payments, then this will stay on your credit report for 7 years.
