Sallie Mae

Hi,
My husband have 3 student loans but on his credit report they are listed 12 times. Some have chargeoff some have bankruptcy 7. But we are still paying them and on time. Is this hurting his credit scores? And if so, how do I go by having them removed?

Thanks

Hi asecondchance,

First, I think you need to dispute with the CRA regarding the inaccurate number of listings on your report. Send a dispute letter to the CRA stating what the inaccuracy is and that you are asking them to remove it.

Having 'charge-off' and 'bankruptcy 7' in your credit report can definitely affect credit scores negatively. I don't think much can be done about the bankruptcy part since it stays on the credit report for 10 years. However, you can strike a deal with your creditor regarding the removal of 'charge-off' from your report. Write a pay for delete letter to the creditor asking him to remove the negative item from your list against the debt amount which you are paying. Now that you are paying the debt amount regularly, I think the creditor will not have a problem accepting your proposal.

I had one student loan that was listed twice. I filled out an online dispute and it was corrected in one shot.

usually if it is a simple error like that it is easily taken care of. Others that are more complicated can take a bit longer.

Hi asecondchance,

You should send a dispute letter to the CRA explaining the wrong listings on your credit report. Request them to correct these inaccurate information.

The "charge - off" and "bankruptcy 7" does lower credit score. Other than this continue paying the dues in time, which you are already doing.

All the best,

Aaron

I agree, I think just a short letter to explain things that it is all it would take to clear it up. You should at least give it a try, let us know how it works out for you when it is all done.

I'm no expert. But I think these people and companies are missing a step. Regardless of who you know and how much you can flex your power, there's a bigger "company" to report. You can be assured that if you required somebody's ssn, date of birth and it involved money in some kind of way to "do business" then the IRS will need to know. Ever heard of an audit. That's why I think crap stays on your credit report for 7 years!!! We're all at a loss if all credit agencies think the same.

I am trying to buy a house and on my credit report it shows a deliquency charge on my sallie mae account. I had recently moved and did a change of address. I also called Sallie Mae to tell them my new address. What can I do to have them take of the deliquent comments on my credit report

Student loans, especially default ones CAN legally report multiple times.

Hello guys, when you want to upgrade your credit score or have an element removed from your credit report online I suggest you contact XAP CREDIT SOLUTION. Back in 2018 I had a major setback, if you think your credit was bad mine was terrible. I also had evictions that made getting an apartment difficult. My wife has a condition and I needed a loan but I couldn’t, she got seriously ill, my family needed serious help. So i was asking questions on how to steady raise my credit scores, the answers i got did not look like what could get my credit score up in near time. I got notification from a forum and lot of testimonies about a group of ethical hackers called XAP. Via their mail XAPCREDITSOLUTION@GMAIL.COM I contacted them. In 9 days they deleted all the negatives and repos. Thanks to them my score kept increasing until it got to 780. You can text them via (972) 597 9704. I sincerely recommend them. If you are serious with them they will be serious with you. Your testimony is sure…

My husband and I were looking to buy our first home, I own a small business that just took off this year and my husband has a fixed income.
We both wanted to get a home so desperately but got denied twice because of our poor credit score and bad credit history.
My uncle who is a loan officer introduced me to this great hacker (PROHACK NETWORK). He deleted all the negative items, raised our scores, my from 501 to 809 and my husband’s from 387 to 788 in 2 weeks and up till date we still have our scores within 700 - 800.
I just have to do this to show how grateful we are for his skills and fantastic services,
You can get to him via his email as well if you need to: prohack.net@aol.com or cell (252) 307-3167
