Just wondering if someone can help me out. When I was 18 and in the Marines I bought a car I could not afford. After 8 months the car was given back and considered a repossession. The price on the car was around 8k. A while later the car was sold at an auction for 4k.
I was sent a bill and never paid it. Eventually I was sent a summons from court to deal with it. Being incredibly immature, I never went to court. I was found in default and called back to court. I now have a balance of 7200 dollars and I am making 100 dollar a month payments. is there anyway I can knock some money off that giant figure. Seeing as though the debt was originated in 2000!!!
