I live in Texas and am trying to get as much credit education as possible to handle my credits in an efficient manner. I will get married in a couple of months and feel efficient credit management is pretty important for a happy married life. This is the first time I am posting a question to your forums. I will be interested to learn from you all how often my credit report gets updated.

Welcome to the forum.
I have the following info for you:
1. Banks generally update the CRAs on a monthly basis.
2. The three CRAs upadte your credit report on a quarterly basis.
3. While Chexsystems can be updated the moment a check is returned on account of non-sufficient funds.

Welcome to the forum .You can find lot of things on net regarding your querry.But in my opinion these are best thing to do .
1.Correct mistakes
2.Pay your bills on time
3.Reduce your credit card balances
4.Pay off debt rather than moving it around
5.Don't close unused credit card accounts near loan time
It helps you to maintain your credit score good.

it's good that you are thinking about future.There is no particular time for updation of credit report.
