On my credit report, I have charged off account posted by Collection Bureau. I call them to find that account was send back to original creditor. I’m willing to pay in full to original creditor. But what should I do with negative record on my credit report after account being paid? Should I contact Collection Bureau and request removal or should I contact Credit Bureau and dispute? Or should I do something different?

Ask your creditor to delete the records after you have paid the amount in full. It is the will of the creditor to delete a record or not. However, it also depends on your negotiation skills whether you can get the credit company to delete the records so that they don't reflect on your credit report. More than likely the collection agency was hired by the original creditor to collect on the debt and when they could not collect after a certain period they then sent it back. You are very lucky if the debt is still owned by the original creditor because if you can get a pay for delete then you can have it cleared completely from your report. Once though it reaches a collection agency that buys the debt then the original creditors mark would stay for 7 years.
Creditors are alot more likely to get this debt settled since more and more people are defaulting on debt in these economic times. I would get that call in to them and push for a pay for delete. Try asking for someone higher up if the person on the phone will not agree to one. It would cost them money to take this to court and if they see you are willing to pay they will hopefully take advantage of that and agree to the PFD. Just be sure to get it in writing before paying the debt off.
