I keep getting threatening calls from some guys saying that they are going have a warrant put out for my arrest for a $150.00 loan that I paid over 200.00 for so I closed my account. Now they are also calling my 80 year old grandmother and terrifying her half to death with their threats.I say in my book that is harassment. I don't know how to get them to stop I asked them once to leave her alone but they keep it up. I am ready to get legal help and give them a taste of there own medicine. Do you think thats a good idea or give me some advice on what to do?
Debts are civil case, not a criminal offense. So you can never get arrested nor go to jail by anyone. They are trying to scare you by giving false threat. You should immediately file a complaint against them to the SAG or FTC.
