Ive only made one payment and I have to keep my phones off the hook! I'm really worried, I have 10 accounts with them and my monthly payments are almost $600 a month. What kind of questions should I ask CS before I back out? Should back out? I really don't know, reading all these messages is crazy! Some say they're for real, others say no. Help!

I am currently enrolled with Credit Solutions. They have been nothing but helpful. We just settled my 2nd account and I payed 37 cents on the dollar.
10,000 credit card I paid 3,700. Even with their fee it is helping me out a bunch. Instead of being 70+ years old and out of debt. I am going to be debt free at this rate in 22 more months. I read all the BS on the BBB. And I only gave them one card to enroll to see how they would handle everything. They were great, so I enrolled the rest of my 76k in debt. I signed up on a 48 month plan. And I will be out of debt in a total of 38 months. And I didn't go with a consolidation or consumer credit counseling company cause they show up on your credit report. It tells your future creditors that you needed help paying your bills, well NO TY to that...! Over all they have saved me 17,000 dollars so far. And we still have 3 more big cards to get settled. Yes it will be a rebuilding process to get my credit back where it was. But I will be done 100% in a short time period, and have good paid accounts on my credit when we are done. Overall this was a huge blessing to my family.

how exactly this credit solution works? If the entries are not reported on the credit report then there has to be some sort of trick.I guess it is some type of goofing here.

Hi grandma,

I see in few of the posts, that some of the people have been successful in settling their debts by working with Credit Solutions. But I still feel it is always better to repair your credit on your own. Credit Repair Companies negotiate with your creditors, try to reduce the debt amount and settle it. If you feel that you could very well negotiate with your creditor on your own, there is no point in enrolling with a Credit Repair Company.

If you could elaborate and give the details of the debt, I am very sure the Forum members will be able to help.

Keep in touch

Ivin, do you really feel they have helped? I am scheduled to be signed up in August...I really liked the lady I spoke with and felt that she was very helpful. They did not accept one of my lower balance cards because she told me that specific creditor does not like to deal. I am trying to get any good reports on this company I can find. The BBB doesn not have much on them but I don't put 100% faith in the BBB.

I've almost fall for this scam and thanks to all the feedback in this forum that changed my decision to request a STOP to the process on this debt free program that I enrolled (credit solutions). I didn't wanna take any chances with this company and end up losing my money like Randy did. I'm really glad exCS employee told us the truth and made me realized the best way to get out of debt is to work it out on your own instead of going for so called "short cut". tks to all feedback!!

Hello pepper,
I am glad you came here and did your homework before trusting any agency. It can be pretty tricky when looking for a good solid credit solution program. They are out there but you have to do your homework. I think it would be wonderful if the site would make available a page you could go to and it would list some of the good debt programs and the ones know to be fraudulent. It would be an excellent resource. What do you thin k?

This is a SCAM! I know from personal experience. DO NOT DO business with them. They may now be doing business under the name of Clear One Debt Relief or Clear One Debt Solutions. They were formerly doing business under the name of Start Positive until they got busted.

Thanks former credit solutions employee. I could just kick myself. I read these before after I had signed up and tried to cancel. First of all, I faxed them the cancellation form and they still kept calling me because I was set up for Nov.5th for the first fee of $100.00. I finally talked to someone and asked them why I need to talk to them when I faxed the cancellation notice. They said its policy, so they transferred me to someone and I told them I want to cancel. They asked why? I told them I did some research on the internet and decided not to do it because I can open a savings account and put money into for my bills and not pay a fee to do that. They went on and on saying you can't believe everything you read on the internet, somehow they talked me into staying with them. They received the first fee from me already. Today I was trying to get a loan of some kind because my checking account is empty again and I came across info regarding debt consolidation so i thought that might be a better solution for me than credit solutions. Then again I came across these posts and now I am going to have to cancel with them. No ifs, and's or buts!!!! Thanks for the advise, I can still get out while its still early.
