Subject: cc debts

I have been battling with my cc debts. Bank has been calling and have been sending messages to my ex that they might file a complaint. My office mates who have been receiving calls from banks told them I am not at work anymore.
Would they at one point stop calling? I am unemployed taking care of my baby. I am a single mom by the way.

Subject: sued by credit card companu

I have been sued for ccard debt, I am going to court soon. I had been working with a debt settlement company. Unfortunately, they were useless, the offers were way too high for me since I have been laid off. any advice?
I owe $7000 no job, no money. When i was laid off they asked me to sign a letter where I would not collect unemployment since they gave me $1000 5 months ago, and I still cant find a job.
Any advice? Thanks

You can't, the credit card caompny determines which part of the debt gets paid off first, and guess what, they always choose the low interest portion.

First of all, try to figure out how much you owe as a whole.
The next step is to call each credit card company and ask to speak to the collections department or somewhere you can arrange payment plans.
Stay strong. Tell them you've looked over your income and finances and want to pay, but need to make some kind of alternate arrangement than what is currently being followed.
The most important thing is to make these lowered payments on time.
Do not ask to make payment plans unless it's absolutely necessary and you simply cannot pay at least the minimum for your cards each month.

Go to the major credit card weetisbs and look at the applications for student credit cards.I believe all CCs check credit reports, but it varies on the minimum requirements needed to get approved. Few will lend you money without checking if you are trustworthy.Your first CC will likely be a low-limit, high-interest one, so your credit-building task might be a slow one. Ask at your bank about getting one through them. Remember, if you get a CC, try not to carry a balance on it and DON'T BUY IT IF YOU CAN'T AFFORD IT. CCs are magic-money-cards, they are meant to make money for the CC companaies.
