Thast what is going on with my desktop now. I really do not have the money to get it repaired even though it is a newer one. I figured I can still use my laptop so when I can get it done I will. It runs great until I go to connect to the internet and then It says I have connection problems or it will bring up a few pages and then say the page can not be displayed. It is really frustrating becuase I know it isn;t connection problem due to my pC. I will just let another person look at it that knows what they are doing when I get the extra money.

Do you have a 'PC Repair' on your PC? I don't mean an Anti-Virus. The 'repair' takes all of your 'corrupted' files and 'fixes' them. That's what may be the problem. Have you 'cleaned out' your PC? Defragmentation..that kind of thing? If you don't know how to do it, I can talk you through it.

So I wanted to give an update here - I was looking through my previous posts and I thought i'd post here cause I needed to sing the praises of CYberdefender! Just this past week it blocked a couple of viruses from hitting my computer. When I did a google search, I found out the site I was trying to get onto was a bad one - so now I've even loaded Cyberdefender onto my kids computers so they won't get hit with any viruses while they're on too.

One thing to remember is don't store your credit card numbers with sites like "Rhapsody" or "iTunes" to pay for your music or monthly fee. I hit a webpage and while it was loading I went to the kitchen to get a glass of tea. When I got back, which was less than 2 minutes there was a "Virus" notification on my screen from Norton Internet Security 2010. I immediately aborted the connection, but they still got my credit card number and made 2 transactions by 8am the next morning. One for $167 in Newcastle, Great Britian and the other was for $347 in Victoria, Sechyles (??), which is an island off the coast of Africa.
