Obtaining Credit reports

Hello, I am new to this forum and have a few questions.
I am trying to dispute a few items on my credit, but I already obtained a free copy of each of my reports around 6 months ago when I was looking into purchasing a car. So now when i go to annualcreditreport.com, I am unable to axcess my information anymore from each of the sites. They say i have already obtained my report. Do I have to pay for each site to give me a report that I will just be sending back to them to dispute an item? Is there a way around this? Or should I wait 6 months until I can obtain my reports again?

Did you pull from all three at one time? I usually wait a few months between each one. You can get one from each once a year. If you already pulled from each one then if you want them you can wait the six months or pay for t5hem.

Since you have already pulled out your credit report from all the three credit bureaus, you need to purchase if you want another copy of the credit reports. If you visit the Experian site you will find that if you pay $39.95 you will get all the three reports plus your FICO score. But if you want to get it for free, you need to wait for another six months or so. However, even if you get your free credit report after six months, you are not entitled to get a free FICO score. Federal law only allows one free credit report each year but not free score.

You can obtain the three reports from any of three credit reporting agencies by paying a charge as Carol said. Moreover, in addition to one free report every year from the three bureaus, you will get another free copy of your credit report if you sign up for fraud alert service. Moreover, as far as I know, if you are unemployed for a period of six months, you are eligible for a free copy of your credit reports.

Hi Aby
For cashing out your magic points, you need to earn at least 1000 magic points by posting in this forum as a registered user by logging in with your user id and password. Once you earn 1000 magic points or more, you can send a cash out request along with your paypal details or your address (if you don't have a paypal id) to admin@creditmagic.org
