I recently paid a few debts on my CR and there has been no update. I called Equifax and they said I needed a confirmation number.
I have all three reports but he said that I have to pay for their report apart from the 3, before I can get the confirmation number or it will not be updated.
I can't get a free annual report until April 22 and I need it to be updated as soon as possible.
What do I do now? It will cost me $29.95 and I am already paying that amount for all 3 reports. What a bunch of crap.
just do an online dispute with the credit bureau over the ones you want removed and at the very least they will mark them as paid.
I tried that and they want a confirmation number in order to dispute.

Oh, yeah. When you pay for your CR's, on-line, they ( whoever you ordered it from) will give you an Order Confirmation Number.....that's what the CB is asking for.
