What to do about Equifax

I have disputed a couple different things on my credit report. And their results always come back as the creditor say's the information is reported correctly. So I have contacted the creditor myself after getting their results. And both have stated they didn't get their information from us. So it looks like they are not contacting anyone. They are putting what ever they want on their dispute results. The worse thing is I have sent in all my legal papers as proof that it is listed wrong for the second time. So any ideas on how I should handle this?

Can you contact the federal debt collection website and look for contact information on there, they may be able to help you.

They do have a site it is ftc(dot)gov, there is contact information there, you can either write them and send them all your proof or call them and ask the what you should do.

Thanks for the information. This is getting old. And I don't think they should get by with this. Who knows how many people they have done this to. I did get a letter from a law firm a couple weeks ago saying they were suing all three credit reporting agencies for this type of thing. I thought it was I thought it was a scam and threw it away. Now I'm thinking it was the real deal after what they are tiring to pull with me.
