I have an unpaid parking ticket that I know is in collections. It's a private lot ticket so no government involved. I had the ticket, moved, lost the ticket but retained the envelope with contact information on it. I called the number and spoke to someone who said they would call me with the information I needed to pay it. He never called and I have called several times in the past few weeks with no response.
So, how do I know who to pay to get this off my credit report?

go to annual credit report dot com and look at your credit report.

I agree with cinnamngrl. You should pull your credit report, from the website of annual credit report dot com. From your report, you will easily be able to find out with which collection agency is the unpaid parking ticket.
