I use Lexington Law Firm credit repair and just noticed that they sent debt validation letters out more than once to the same company 30-60 days apart. Would that be because they received no response and can I then send out dispute letters myself for removal? I also noticed that they're not sending debt validation letters to every negative collection agency on my credit report--just certain ones...the same certain ones.
You should search the forums about this company. I have not read very good things about them.
I also know a few years back, if you kept disputing the same things, the CRAs would lower your score and block any further investigations on that item. I'm certain it has gotten more strict in that respect. I call them and question their motives and inquire as to their plan before I allowed them to proceed.
