Hi,
My question is concerning medical bills. I last paid my deductibles that I owed in the month of August 2007 for this service and was told my bills were clear and paid up, and that I no longer owed the hospital. I have not heard from the hospital since this time.
However, this week I received 7 separate bills from a collection agency totaling over 1,000 dollars. It said this was 4 years ago and I have not even received a bill about this before.
I tries to know more about SOL. So, can I know if the SOL on this has expired. I am in Alabama.
3 years for open accounts and 6 years for contracts. I would send a DV letter
