I believe I have a chase card that was charged off and sold to a collection agency. I requested validation on the chase account because i never had a chase card and they sent me a copy of a check from 2006 that i wrote to providian. side note..I don't even know if that is considered validation. Now i'm trying to get the accounts removed from my credit report. i checked my reports and it seems Chase has the date of major delinquency first report as 11/2008 and the collection company has it as 1/2009. however the date of first delinquency matches the date chase has. is the date of major delinquency first report enough to get it removed
I guess the CA has called you regarding this on a number of occasions. Do they recognize your date of first delinquency?
no they have never called me, i don't think i've ever evem received a letter from them. it just appeared on my credit report
