im being sued for 2200 dollars.i have court 2mrw...i am living on a pension and social security. My house has no equity and i am in fact behind on payments on my mortgage. My wife is a diabetic and just had her leg amputated 6 months ago...my son lost his job, he and his 7 year old son are now living with me. When my son lost his job he had a nissan in which he was gonna lose due to delinquent payments...i took over the payments because it was the only way i was going to get a bigger vehicle for my wifes wheel chair and medical transportation needs. My question is, I know my S.S. can not be garnished but I am extremely stressed out about court tomorrow......Should I be??? The only item i spend money on is my car...every penney i bring in is gone to bills,medication, and food. What should i take to court and should i really be this worried about court 2mrw???

The SS can't be garnished, but then your debts remain an obligation to be repaid asap. I guess your son is looking for a job, if not ask him to join anything that comes his way. This isn't the time to wast over time thinking.
