Hello everyone, well let me get to the meat of my problem. I'm in the midst of buying a home and during this process have found some negative things on my credit report, now at the beginning of buying this house I was told by one mortgage company to pay off all of the negative stuff on my CR and with another I was told to get a secured credit card (which I did) and then attempt to get a deletion letter from a couple of negative accounts. Well I decided to go with the latter mortgage company and i'm 3 points from the minimum score I need to qualify for the loan, my only problem is I've not been able to get any of my negative accounts to agree to the deletion letter. Is there anything else that I can possibly do? I need these these points. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know how quick this is, but one of those quick store cards that report to bureaus may help, and maybe if re-age your credit score it might be higher also.
