What can be taken as an asset during garnishment for SSDI

I cannot afford to make my credit card payment. If I quit making those payments and they obtain a garnishment I know thye cannot take my SSDI check. But can they take my car as an asset if it is titled jointly. I plan to continue making the auto payments.

Yes, they can't take your SSDI check. They may garnish your assets only after they obtain a judgment against you.
