Hi Angel,

This is not the place you are looking for. You need to contact the bank where you have applied for the card.

Wendy

Listen to Laura!! She's 'got it going on'!!

Should I take it as a compliment or a teaser ;)

Wed, 11/07/2007 - 09:46 Permalink

Thanks Laura, I have been trying. I should be caught up and intend on staying caught up with my current bills this month. I am not going overboard for the holidays so that should help. Of course gas just jumped another 12 cents a gallon, that hurts.

Wed, 11/07/2007 - 11:08 Permalink

Try to keep up as much as possible. Once payments are over go for holidays and enjoy yourself. Till then keep working on how to finish off paying debts. :)

Thu, 11/08/2007 - 06:34 Permalink

You are welcome Good. Hope you can make your payments on time and get rid of them as soon as possible.

Thu, 11/08/2007 - 06:44 Permalink

It is such a long slow process, especially with the mortgage, I will have it for another 9 years at the least. Slowly but surely pecking away here.

Fri, 11/09/2007 - 00:57 Permalink

9 years is a very long time. I am sure you will make it. okay one question goes to you..are you using credit cards to keep up with your score? I mean to say with all the payments that you are making how are you keeping your score steady?

I have had the credit card for about 6 months and they have been awesome. I didn't pay any upfront fees (those were already included when signing up with the card) and they actually give me a credit increase every month, they've reparted to all 3 cb's and my credit score has gone up. :D

Mon, 11/19/2007 - 01:05 Permalink

Hi Brenda

Thats a good news. How much credit increase do they give you and how much did they give in the past 6 months?

Mon, 11/19/2007 - 06:23 Permalink

Laura.............I mean that as a 'good thing' ( of course!!LOL) With Imagine card, they 'periodically' look at your account, for an increase. I'm pretty happy with it.

HI EVERYONE I'M GINA AND...I'VE BEEN APPROVED FOR THE 70 DOLLAR CARD..I HAVE BAD CREDIT AND I WAS REALLY HAPPY WHEN IMAGINE DECIDED TO GIVE ME A CHANCE TO HAVE THEIR CARD...I'M BEING RESPONSIBLE AND STAYING A HEAD OF MY PAYMENTS AND I'VE RECEIVED 1 CREDIT INCREASE OF 30 BUCKS GIVING ME 100 DOLLARS NOW I'M WAITING FOR THE NEXT ...I FEEL GOOD THAT I'M BECOMING MORE RESPONSIBLE WITH MY CREDIT. I MAIL IN MY PAYMENTS AND IT ONLY TAKES LIKE 3 DAYS TO GET THERE AND BE POSTED TO MY ACCOUNT. I'VE NEVER HAD LATE FEES OR ANY UNEXPECTED FEES I'M GLAD THAT I HAVE THE IMAGINE CARD AND I WOULD RECCOMEND THAT EVERYONE WITH BAD OR LIMITED CREDIT SHOULD GET IT. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS GOOD THEY ARE HELPFUL AND ACCURATE.

WHAT'S THE HIGHEST LIMIT THAT YOU CAN RECEIVE WITH THIS CARD OVER TIME ??? DOES ANYONE KNOW?

GINA2330 (not verified)

ONE PERSON WROTE THAT IMAGINE CHARGES 19 DOLLARS FOR THE INCREASES ....NO THAT 19 DOLLARS THAT THEY CHARGE EVERY MONTH IS THE MAINTENANCE FEE THAT THEY CHARGE. SO NO IMAGINE DOESN'T CHARGE YOU FOR THE CREDIT LIMIT INCREASES...OH AND I MYSELF HAVE BEEN A MEMBER SINCE AUGUST 2007 I DIDN'T GET INCREASES PREVIOUSLY BECAUSE I DIDN'T USE THE CARD WHEN I FIRST RECEIVED IT...ANYWAY GUYS GOOD LUCK AND ENJOY YOUR IMAGINE CARD.

Sat, 12/01/2007 - 03:31 Permalink

Hello Gina

Its good that Imagine worked for you. Let us know if you receive more increases in credit limit or any other thing that you want to share.

I keep getting a credit increase and they dont charge me but then a maintenance fee shows up a day later.. What should i do ?

GOOD JOB ON MAINTAINING YOUR CARD FOR A WHOLE YEAR AND GETTING INCREASES COOL!! UMM BUT I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY YOU DON'T WANT INCREASES ?? MAYBE YOU SHOULD CALL THEM AND TELL CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT YOU DON'T WANT ANYMORE INCREASES...I MYSELF LOST MY FIRST CARD THAT IMAGINE SENT ME.. ABOUT ONE MONTH AGO AND THAT ACCOUNT HAD AUTOMATIC PAYMENT SET UP ...BUT WHEN THEY SENT ME A NEW CARD AUTO PAYMENT WASN'T SET UP... BUT I'VE BEEN MAKING MY PAYMENTS AHEAD OF TIME THROUGH THE MAIL...AND I'VE MYSELF HAVE GOT A SECOND INCREASE . OH THE MAINTENANCE FEE THEY DON'T CHARGE FOR THE INCREASES...BUT THEY DO CHARGE 19 BUCKS FOR LIKE SERVICES OF THE ONLINE ACCESS SITE myimaginecard.com...THOSE ARE THE MAINTENANCE FEES AND KEEPING YOUR ACCOUNT UPDATED THAT'S WHAT THE EXTRA CHARGES ARE FOR THEY SAY IT'S FREE BUT IT'S REALLY NOT...GO FIGURE OR IT COULD BE THAT THEY SAY THAT IF YOU HAVE HAVE A BALANCE OF MORE THAN 20 BUCKS AT THE END OF EACH STATEMENT MEANING THAT YOU OWE THEM THEY CHARGE YOU A FEE FOR THAT...SO I GUESS THEY HAVE TO CHARGE YOU FOR SOMETHING ...EVEN IF YOU ARE ON TIME ..LOL BUT I LIKE THE CARD SO EITHER WAY YOU STILL HAVE TO PAY THE 19 BUCKS OKAY GOOD LUCK KARLEY AND THANKS FOR POSTING

Sun, 12/09/2007 - 23:54 Permalink

Hi Karley,

If the charges are bothering you i would call and cancel all increases or cancel the card itself. Sd we need some input here.

well i called them today to see why my payments were being reversed, even tho they were early.... they say its because i didnt cancel my payment due date payment and that they wont give me my money back that i payed them on my credit card..... i dont know what to do i lost over 100 dollars in payments now that they wont give back!!!! but its posted thru my bank and they still wont... what should i do i like being with them but it seems they are ripping me off..

Mon, 12/10/2007 - 20:03 Permalink

I would call them back and make sure that it is cancelled, then go to your bank and dispute the charges through your bank, my bank gives you up to 90 days to dispute a charge. So you can try this route. Goodluck with this.

Imagine card sounds like a bottom feeder like Payday Loans. They target people recovering from financial disasters and then leech them of hundreds of dollars. The only thing they do is report that you made a payment to them. You pay them exorbant amounts of bogus "Maintenance Fee's" to do what they are supposed to do anyway. Grrrr

I want so bad to run down to their office and squirt ketchut in their face :)

My sympathies to those who must use their services to rebuilt.

I now have a $500 limit but I do have some complaints about this card. First, customer service is located in some other place than a natural English speaking country-I'm thinking Philipines because of their accents-and it is next to impossible to find someone to really understand you when you are having problems with the website or anything remotely more difficult than "what is my balance"? I only call customer service when there is a real problem, not to find out my balance. And it seems their English seems to be limited to "your balance is $$$_____", You need to make a payment.... Here in October and November, apparently the website was down for "enhancements". I had never had any problems with it or with making my payments except for some situations that I will talk about in another paragraph. Suddenly, without me making any changes to any of my bank information, the payments stopped being automatically withdrawn, kept rejecting any payments I tried to make, and gave me messages that my bank account routing number or account number was invalid. I had never had any problems with it before and I did not change banks. When I called in to make a payment by phone the same problem happened, and when I tried to make the payment via a representative, his English seemed to be limited to thinking I wanted to change my due date. When I called to explain there was a problem with the website and it not taking my bank account info, the reps (and I called multiple times) could only tell me that I needed to make a payment and did I want to buy that add on insurance in case I am ever unemployed.

Prior to the "enhancement", the only problems I ever encountered with the card was knowing if and when a payment would come out of the account. It was originally sold to me as being withdrawn out of my account automatically. Not bad. I liked the idea. I could use the website to supervise it or make extra payments. What happens, though, is that if I make a payment early, it will try to draw another payment anyway, and sometimes, if I just assume it is going to take a payment (as it was supposed to), it may never ever take the payment. No attempt even. I have called my bank and they don't even see these attempts. I have plenty of funds, so that is not a problem. But I doubt I will ever be able to get an actual explanation. As for the bank account problem after the system "enhancements", I called my bank and the rep gave me some suffix to add to my account number. IF this customer service dept is worth the wages they are being paid, why couldn't they have told me to begin with? I don't even think they have a help desk for website issues. I'd hate to see what would happen if people did (and I am sure they do). I have worked in customer service jobs for at least 7 years and we were always apprised of system related problems and if a customer were having problems with the account we either knew how to fix the problem or tell the customer what was needed or get them to someone qualified to do so.

Hi Gina!

I CHECK TO SEE THAT SOMEONE HAD CHANGE MY ONLINE ACCOUNT INFO COMPLETELY FROM MY UPDATED INFO TO OUT DATED INFO

Well my friend, this is certainly a practice that has spread globally & affected the payment systems with all reputed payment services. Well, when moneys are in transit you'd often come across such delays.

LOL GOODNESS GRACIOUS THOSE CUSTOMER REPS IN INDIA CAN BE A PAIN IN THE AZZ....BUT THAT'S THE JOYFUL WONDERS OF OUT SOURCED JOBS THAT SHOULD BE IN THE U.S.A NOT A THIRD WORLD COUNTRY

Quite true...especially when they took the trouble to commit mistakes (as dictated by their counterparts at the clients' end). Again they took all the trouble to live up to their commitment, simply by editing them back following the request of their privileged customer.

Gina, don't you feel its high time that we understand how this outsourcing system works & how these third world vendors that we are dealing with are mere puppets at the hands of our own fellows!

As far my belief goes, our names would appear at sales-databases prepared by the research analysts experimenting with different economic market segments. Then these databases are being sold back to the market only to be grasped by the commercial banks & a handful of dissolving busy bodies. Now, that becomes their turn to convey it to their third world vendors (with all their instructions attached).

Yes, the vendors are doing it for a smaller bucket of money which forces them to turn deaf-n-dumb...n it is perhaps when they come across pains-in-azzes like us that their pure conscience urges them to follow their glorious cultures & traditions - 'saving us from hassles'

Hi Gina,

I completely agree with you. The problem arises when we become impatient and try to blast them they give it back to us.

CUSTOMER REPS IN INDIA CAN BE A PAIN IN THE AZZ

We feel this but we forget that the feelings are mutual at both ends. LOL
You must have come across a representative who could not deliver her job properly. The point is that we receive what we give. Do you really think we are polite to them ;)?

You cannot file a complaint now because they (after all the harassment) have given you the number required. However I think you should monitor your transactions regularly to avoid such grave issues. This cannot be the fault of the

third world country

. They have been given the job because more serious mistakes happen at our end. Keep your patience things will work fine.

BUT IN ACTUALITY GUYS.... IT WAS MY FAULT FOR RELYING ON A 50 CENT STAMP..WHEN I SHOULD HAVE JUST SPENT A FEW MORE DOLLARS OR CENTS TO HAVE THE MONEY ORDER SENT MORE SECURE... SO IT WASN'T IMAGINE CARD'S FAULT AT ALL..BUT SINCE I COULDN'T GET TO ANYONE THROUGH U.S.P.S ... I WENT TO THE ONE WHO WAS AVAILABLE ...AND THAT WAS IMAGINE...LOL ..HEY IT COMES WITH THE TERRITORY OF CUSTOMER SERVICE...PAIN IN THE AZZEZ LIKE ME SO I GIVE NO APOLOGIES..INDIA CAN DEAL OR GIVE UP THEIR JOBS.

Well Gina,

It is about trying out a service big time & if it seems secure enough, then continue with it for good!

If our managers are rude...then they are not meant to do any good to us...especially the managers who are hell bent to outsource business..
I do sincerely empathize with you at that...& its high time we need to be choosy & look well before we leap!

We are certainly the best at all financial processes becoz our govt. buys the best of the 3rd world brains for us. I could only see us walking straight towards oblivion...the day when they walk out of our jobs!
..& so it might not be too far before we would need to spend A FEW MORE DOLLARS OR CENTS AT EVERYTHING! :)

Never had a problem, with payments coming out of my bank account, however...I agree with alot of you, with the 'Customer Service' thing. It's difficult for the Reps to understand what you want. Other than that, things are ok with me.

Sounds like an alright card if you do choose to go the unsecured route. The thing that I am curious about is the fact that they have a secured and unsecured credit card for the same type of credit scenerio,[BAD CREDIT] . I wonder what are the critrias are for getting the unsecured card versus the secured card. To eliminate the fees who wouldnt go with the unsecured card. I am going to also look into this Image card ,but secured is out of the question. You should never send money first before you recieve a credit card. That sounds like a big ripoff that I dont want to be a part of. I will also be waiting to see more post of information on this issue.Maybe someone can add somemore positive feedback . Hope these accounts work out for all of you ,in terms of raising your credit scores. Best of Luck!!!

Thu, 02/21/2008 - 04:05 Permalink

If I'm correct, if you DO apply for the Imagine Card (Unsecured) and you are turned down, the company willoffer you a Imagine ( Secured) card. Which means YOU control the money on it ( you add the money yourself). But ( I think..) you have to have so-much on the card, to 'activate' it..( ie............you can add money on it, but, you can't ACTUALLY use it until you have so much on it). I don't think the fees are the same. 'Fasfeed'.I agree.....NEVER send money until you actually recieve the card...good advice.

My balance is almost $900 all of which none are charges that I have put on the credit card. They are a rip off and a scam and many people have reported this company for the fraudulant activity they put out on everyone that gets a card through them! DON'T DO IT!

Well........I guess I need to put my 'money where my mouth is.' I accidently missed a monthly payment, with Imagine. So, I called them up and told them to take a DOUBLE payment out the next month. they said no problem. Well.the next month rolled around and they took the double payment out PLUS an 'assessment' fee of $60.00. When I called them back, I couldn't speak to a 'live' person AND to top it all off, they closed my card, AFTER I made arrangements with them. NOW they say my balance is over $600.00, when I had a $300.00 limit originally. AND......before I missed the payment I STILL had 'credit' of $50.00 on it. I have NO IDEA where all of these charges came from. I can't get anyone on the phone to explain this to me.

Tue, 09/23/2008 - 23:33 Permalink

I do not like the sounds of this card. I would and will advise anyone who gets any type of credit card NOT to link it to your bank account. This will give the credit card company an opportunity to help themselves anytime they feel you did not hold up your end. For instance... Say your bill got lost in the mail and you didn't recieve it at all and also didn't relize it. If they have access to your account they can go ion and take both the missed payment and penalty charge before you even get a chance to explain what happened. It would be easier to get that bill in the mail and see the mistake and then call. At least you wouldn;t have to wait for the cash to be recredited to your account or run into a REP. that doesn't want to waste time on an account already paid for.

Wed, 09/24/2008 - 11:31 Permalink

Hi Celina Canty
Since you have already called them up and registered a complaint with them and has still not received a new credit card, you should send them a letter by certified mail telling explaining them the entire incident and ask them to block the old imagine 1 credit card and issue you a new card. You can send your letter at the following address
