Does anyone prefer one credit reporting agency over the other, transunion, experian or equifax, which do you prefer and why.

I need one that is easy to understand with complete information, I don't seem to be getting that from experian?????

I would like the answer for that also> Later this year I want to pull mine and make sure things that were suppose to fall off did.

Many places online will give you all 3 at one time for a monthly fee. But basicly eveyone will have a monthly fee.

Its not about preference. The agency that my creditors deal with is my major point of contact. For the rest I do pull the free annual report.

I like to know where all of mine stand because you never really know the preference of the creditor , but the easiest to read to me is equifax. They seem to go that extra step to make reading theirs simple.

When you get a loan banks use all 3, is that correct? Somthing I have been wondering about for a long time. Becouse what im working toward is buying a house, and seems like every report reads different.

Usually a bank or finance company will use all three. For SOME CA's, they report to one or two CRA's...sometimes not all tree of them. I found that out, by looking at my CR. How strange.

When you are applying for a loan for a house they will pull what is known as a tri merge which is all three. Out of all three they use your middle score for approval.

When I got my vehicle financed, the Finance Company only used 1 CB. I'm wondering..if anyone knows. If you are applying for a loan, can you REQUEST which CB you want the lender to use? I've never HEARD of anyone doing that, but..just wondering if you could.

Requesting they pull from your desired agency would probably make them feel you have something to hide with the others being that all companies do not report to all three bureaus. They probably have their own preference .

I would be surprised to find all three reports saying the same thing. has anyone had all three credit reporting companies show the same report?
