Subject: Help with wording on a Response to Summons

Greetings, I found an example of a response to a summons and I am typing it up. I admit I owe the debts but I don't know what to say on the response. I have a meeting with an attorney scheduled to discuss bankruptcy and everything but I don't know what to say on the response. Do I admit to the debt? Do I disagree? Do I admit and then say "but I'm filing bankruptcy"? Please help! Thanks! ~Kevin

Hi oravits,

As you have an attorney, you can consult him about answering to the summons. Other than this you can also take help from the court clerk. Visit the court from where you had been served with the summons. There, request the clerk to help you in answering to the summons.

As far as I understand from your query, you perhaps is considering bankruptcy. Thus, it is better to consult your attorney.

oravits, your attorney can help you answer with wording on a response to summons, just asked him/her regarding that.
