HI, there:
I bought a Dell Laptop with windows 7 home premium a month ago and I reinstalled the system with the windows 7 DVD came with the Laptop. However I don't know I need to activate the windows 7 at that time.
Now after 30 days, I have a problem that, the windows message says that, my activation period has been expired. Even when I tried to input the product key on the Dell laptop, it is said that the product key is invalid.
Would you please tell me what to do except reinstalling the windows 7 if reinstallation can solve this problem.
Thank you.
Hello this is a credit magic forum and we help deal with credit issues. I can personally tell you recently I purchased from Dell a desk top and have had nothing but problems. I can not even get it to stay connected to the net. If you call Dell they will charge you over $200 for their services. I would call the windows company. If they do n ot resolve your issues then contact your atty general an d he or she will get in on the matter, good luck.
I just bought my son a laptop from dell for Christmas with windows 7 already installed. I don't think you have to reinstall it unless you have a problem with your computer and it gets wiped out. But I'm not really sure. We discuss credit repair on this forum so my knowledge with computers is slim. I usually learn as I go.
