Years ago I had a small home based business. Ten years ago when my first wife and I split I closed the business, paid all the creditors off and started up a new business with a new name and address. My new business is being sued for a debt I owe and they are using my credit apt. from my first business. I never filled out one for the new business.
Can they do that?

what kind of debt is this?
