I sent a Debt Validation letter and did not get a response.

I have two letters that I sent and did not get a response. I have not been served with a summons yet, but I know one is coming. A complaint was filed in Civil Court last week. I plan on answering the summons and submitting it to the court and the attorney( who I think is the junk debt buyer). Would I submit copies of the letters and copies of the return receipts with my answer?

did you have them sent certified mail return receipt?what are the procedures for service in your town/county/village/bourough?you said a complaint was filed.did the complaint have a case number?if not wait to be served.then file the answer that you intend to demand validation during discovery.file that with the court clerk.btw any answer you file will get sent to the plaintiff's attorney.yes your letters will either get them to validate,or they will stall, and you can request the suit be dismissed.do that.

I always send via certified mail with lifecreditdebt. I cannot begin to tell you how many times that has been the saving grace to getting these delinquent debts removed. Who knew that bureaucratic nonsense (time lines and all that) would actually work in my favor for once. Don't be afraid to tell them about your rights via FCRA and FDCPA. If they want to play rough then you just have to also!
