Good morning, I was up and put my turkey on and thought I would stop by and tell everyone, "Happy Thanksgiving"
I would like to know what everyone is thankful for? I am thankful for a healthy family, family and friends, a good job that provides benefits to me and my family, and of course the opportunity that I have had to meet and coverse with all of you.
Happy Thanksgiving to you too Da and to everyone! we're thankful for being able to be together and pray for other families out there who are not able to be together whether they have family in the military, are lonely in general, or have health problems. there are numerous reasons why people can't be together. I have a beautiful bouncy 14 month old who will for the first time experience a thanksgiving (he wasn't all that interested last year, very new to this world)! while we all have colds we still have our overall health and that's so important. we were supposed to go home to my parents' but all of us being sick this is the first year we will spend a major holiday with just us!
I'm thankful to have found all of you as well, have a very safe and Happy Thanksgiving :) and let us pray and think of others who are not as fortunate in hopes that others will reach out in good faith
Sounds like debtstinker did not sign in again, god girl, do I have to put a yellow sticky on your head, LOL.
Any way, got up early and put the turkey in, took all my stuffing to work the other day, so no stuffing here today. Just turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce and macroni salad, everyone was full and napping by one.
My four year old loved the cranberry sauce, she ate three slices, that really surprised me, I can't get the child to touch mashed potatoes and gravy, I find that very odd, most kids love mashed potatoes.
How is it that you know me so well??????/ that's pretty cool! yes i need yellow stickies all over my house. I am a musician you know and us artsy folks are not organized at all but we play like there's no tomorrow ;) you should have seen my accompanist (watch he'll be a mod or something) I went into his room once and there were literally clothes up tot he ceiling!
anyway, sounds like you guys had a really nice meal and you even shared with your co workers! oh i miss those days when people would do that. something to look forward to.
I'm glad your little one enjoyed the meal and her Thanksgiving too, she's at the age now where memories are formed. I remember very well moments when I was four. Mashed potatoes are an acquired taste ;) at least she doesn't make sculptures with them :) :)
Im thankful to everything that God has given me. My parents, my sister, a smooth life, brains(lacking in most people ;)) and a wonderful house where I live happily with my family.
Sounds like fairy tale though...Mashed potatoes have a great effect on me. I did make sculptures with them and would generally smash it across the room. My sister made snow men, trees, plates but I used to sculpture copters and planes so most of them were smashed onto the floor. Phew!! Poor momma. LOL

have you tried them with garlic and chives really good and for left overs add an egg and frie them.
