Hello, my name is Pammila

I frequent several message boards and have been working online for over 8 to 10 years. Prior to this I worked for a credit bureau.

I like teaching consumers about credit reporting issues such as:

Ordering credit reports
Properly disputing with credit reporting agencies
Understanding reporting periods
Understanding statute of limitations
Understanding credit scoring
Dealing with ID Theft
Dealing with bankruptcy - credit side
Understanding credit counseling & debt settlement companies
Dealing with Judgments, collections, charge offs, and such
Fix Mixed / Split credit files

There is more to the list, but can't remember until asked.

I look forward to contributing on the site, and thanks.

Pammila

Ok I am trying to figure things out, can some people give me some feed back. I sometimes post to threads adding more than one link, my question is if it is ok, when all of the links just go to government sites. Or do I need to post one individual post with one link. I know the idea is to drive up posts to make money, but I just think that would be rude to just mass posts on one subject. Do others have ideas on this.

Think I am reading tos right, just one link in signature? I changed that just in case, but if someone knows for sure let me know.

Hi Nightstar,

You can add more than one site in your post. However, they need to be the finance based gov sites. As for signature, you can add more than one link provided the links doesn't go to one site only.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Aaron

Well to give you an idea - sometimes I post links for say the Federal Trade Commission - FDIC, NCUA, or major credit card sites. I also post links for say Consumer Reports (they have a good link for medical commission disputes). I also post state web sites, and official bankruptcy sites, also post one for a utility commission web site were to send disputes. They are not all government, but they are just about all some kind of organization to assist consumers. I have tons of data from over the past 8 to 10 years that I horded in my data base that I refer to when a consumer has a specific question or need for something I have a link to.

I would never post links for anything that did not pertain to credit reporting issues, or financial information, or dispute information. I do know one site that I do post from time to time and it is a letter writing site PBF - they have good contact info for various businesses - like CEO or president of the company contacts. Sure beats customer service reps at the various credit card companies.

In my signature I post the links for site that I personally work for, and I have no problem posting this site's link in my signature at other sites. and I even have a recommendation post for other message boards from other sites. I really like this site, and plan to added to my favorites to visit here often.
