Credit Card reported as Installment Account?

My Chase Freedom card is reported as Installment instead of Revolving on my Transunion report. The Limit field is also blanked. Isn't this hurting me? Would moving it to Revolving and having my $15,000 limit counted improve my score? I have several cards and never carry a balance. I have no late payments.

In my opinion surely it will have good impact when the facts are stated as they are. If you are having revolving one then you should notify it to trans union and get it corrected.

I hope it will surely give a better response towards credit improvement.

Hi Satchmo,

I would suggest that you get the information corrected on your credit report. If the credit limit is not mentioned on the report, it will be difficult for creditors to assess your credit card utilization ratio. Getting the error corrected may not improve your score, but it necessary to have all items correctly listed on the credit report.

If you do not carry balances on any of your cards, and make timely payments, I am very sure you have a good credit score. Always try to maintain the score.

Best wishes to you.
