How to judge a good credit reporting service?
Mon May 02, 2016 6:12 am
Before registering with a monitoring service check if the company is accredited by the BBB, and if it is a non profit company.
The best credit card will be the one with low APR, no fees on balance transfer, and has a fixed interest rate rather than variable.

Subject: You need a better credit

I went through a divorce a few years ago and had young children. I carried credit card debt from the marriage as well as the debt I accrue during the time to get back on my feet and renter the workforce after being a stay at home mom for 8 years. I have a good job with a good income but I am maxed out and feeling overwhelmed. I carry 32046 in 11 credit card accounts and 1 personal loan from Lending Club. I own two cars that should get me through the next couple years. I own a home and my ex-husband is still on the loan because I have been unable to refinance because of a limited income history and low credit score affected by my CC utilization. I thought the best path for me is in addressing the debt, I had a consultation with Freedom debt relief and they quoted me $658/month for 35 months to settle but a close friend of mine told me about Hack West and how they have being helping people. She had similar issue but Hack West fixed it. I collected the contact (HACKWEST@WRITEME.COM / (424) 307 2638) mailed and texted ASAP. After I explained West assured me that it will be fixed within 10 business day and I kept to the part of the agreement. All debts have being removed from my report and my score is 810 today. Thank you Hack West.

Not all the creditors/debt collectors agree to trim down the outstanding balances, interests, and fees payable by the consumer.
Consumers working with the debt relief companies can still be sued by the creditors/collection agencies.
Debt relief services may have a diminishing effect on the creditworthiness of the consumer. The total outstanding balance may increase as the additional fees get accrued.
The overall amount saved by the consumer through the debt relief services is considered as taxable income by the IRS.
