Debt Resolution Partners or Freedom Debt.com?

Has anyone done business with either of these?
We have $30,000 in debt, they are a debt settlement agency. I am nervous about stopping payment on my credit cards in order for them to to try to settle. But at the same time I of course would like to settle for less.

Anyone have any experience with them? Debt Resolution Partners is the LLC and Freedom debt is one of their companies.

Thanks!

Wells Fargo / US Bank

I split my direct deposit 50/50 between Wells Fargo and US Bank. This way, I have more than the $500 DDA limit available - at any given time.

By using both banks, I have more than 1 full paycheck of NET PAY in DDA available at any given time.

The DDA is less expensive than a PAYDAY LOAN and most banks are willing to provide a term of over 30 days. Most PAYDAY loan companies merely provide terms between 14-18 days.

Bank took my money, advice needed please!

My mom has over $100,000 in debt and today I checked my bank account only to find that all of my money, including the $6,000 I had just deposited from my student loan, is gone! Her name is on my bank account because she helped me open it a few years ago (I was still a minor). Called my mom and found out they took my sister's money too. Is this legal? The check was in MY name, and that's MY money and I still need to pay my tuition. Help!

interrogation questions and debt settlement agreement

Submitted by question on Mon, 09/21/2009 - 14:56

after sending an answer to a motion and requesting debt verification from CA; i received a court date from the court; and i received a package from the CA that include interrogation questions that i have to answer; and debt settlement agreement for amount less than original balance.
if i choose to send the payment to settle; do i still have to answer the interogation questions?
or would those be null since i chose to settle.
do i have to send any further papers to the court since i won't be attending the court date? i dont want to be in default.

Trying to get score up and need advice?

I owe 2 different collection agencies a total of $1500. I want to get them payed off and off of my credit report, but I was told that since they are negs on my report they will stay on for 7 years even if I pay them off now. Is this true? Also if they do stay on from the last date of payment for 7 years, what if I pay them and something that will fall off in 3 years will now be 7 years-should I still pay it? Will my credit score go up a little if they are payed and still on the report vs. non paid and on my report?
