This is all new to me I received a summons at the end of January to answer a claim, I had no idea what to put for the answer so I answered the summons with I deny I owe them. It is a charge off card that has passed around from collection co. to collection co an finally a lawyers office.
I just received the notice of hearing today and it is set for March 1. Do I still have time to request validation? How do these cases usually go in the court room. I am clueless!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
You'll get a chance to get your debt validated under the guidance of the Credit bureaus. But make sure you be there at the court on the date and time specified.
