Must a creditor inform me in an "official" capacit

I was receiving mail from my creditors at a past residence and at an old Post Office Box. I placed a forwarding address change for each to a new Post Office Box. Mail has been received from my creditors at the new Post Office Box. My creditors also have my telephone number.
