Hello,
My husband is applying for a mortgage for our new home. He has very high credit scores. Today, our loan officer sent us a sheet of paper saying that Experian wants to know why we had a late payment (30 days) 2X on a car that was paid off three years ago?? We honestly don't remember, but why does it matter- the car was paid off??? So.. bottom line we would like to know what to put there so that we can still be guaranteed our loan!!
