How easy is it to get judgements and court items off of a credit report? I don't have any BK's but a couple of garnishments. I heard it was usually easy because courts are so busy they don't respond in enough time. I disputed the two garnishments on my credit report saying they were not mine, but the investigation concluded they are and remain on my CR. They have been paid off for awhile.
As you have paid the two garnishments, they should appear as "paid judgment". But it will stay on your report for 7 years.
