I have a voluntary Mitzubishi repo from Nov 1999 that Calvary Portfolio just contacted me about last week. They claim that with interest the amt owed is $14,000.00. I have a credit report from last year that shows the orig deliquent date of Nov 1999 and a cct charged-off in 12/99. Another collection company had this for years but stopped calling me last year. I believe that the SOL has expired on this debt and that they can't place it on my credit report because the "7" year rule has expired - Is this true? Thank you in advance for any comments/advice
