I have a debt to a credit card company. I have no money to pay the payment they want. Today i got a call from a layers office trying to collect the debt. I explained my situation behind on house payment and no money. They threaten to take me to court. Can they garnish my wages? I live in Ohio.
So, I disputed a few items on my credit report at the start of February, TransUnion claims it has New Info on two accounts. One is Capital One the other being Asset Acceptance. I paid Asset in the amount of $600.00 as they requested to settle in full. Now my question is: TransUnion says it has new info for them and claims Asset updated on 2-14-2013 and they claim Capital One had new info and says the updated 9-14-2009. My ? is did they even look into this or bypass it
