I have started to build my credit score with a capitol one card. The card started at $300.00 and has moved to $500.00, But has not moved up anymore in several months. I've always paid early and at least 3 times the amount due. what more can I do to get the limit move up.

Presently due to the recession in the US economy, most credit card companies and banks are not increasing the credit limit on cards, instead some of them are even lowering the credit limit on the cards. So I think you should not call them up for increasing the limit as you may land up lowering your limit. Just concentrate on building up your credit score with the card.

Yes, Carol is right. You should now concentrate on taking your credit score to 700 and above by building up a good credit history. Once you take your score to this level, you can apply for a new credit card with a higher credit limit and with such an impressive score, you can easily qualify for a higher limit card.
