Hi can anyone please suggest on how to get rid of my bad credit and negative items. I have paid most of my debts to the collection agency in full and they have been closed. But there is one account which is potentialy negative closed.. Is this bad.. and how can i repair my credit score or be eligible for a new credit.. I have a stable job now and I do not want to repeat my earlier mistakes. Any help wpuld be greatly appreciated.

Are the accounts still with the original creditor or are they with a collection agency? It will depend on the status on what you can possibly do with them.

There are alot of folks here with some really good experience on this site. Stick around I am sure others will come along and give you some advice.

Hi Srout,

Accounts which are potentially negative closed do have a negative impact on your credit score. Accounts are reported as potentially negative when the creditor faces problem in collecting the dues from you, may be more than once. The creditor himself then closes the account.

What you can do is call the creditor and inquire into the details of the account. Request them to provide you the reason, as to why the account was closed. You need to negotiate a payment plan, to remove the negative from your report.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Aaron
