How do I handle this response from the CA?

Help! I sent a dispute letter to Credit Systems Internation, INC for validation and this is what they responded with:
"RE: (My name)
ACCT: XXXX
We are in receipt of your request but are unable to locate the referenced account. You can contact our office and ask for extension 812.
If deleting the information at the credit bureau(s) will resolve the issue, please follow the below procedure:
1. Through the respective credit bureau(s), dispute the debt.
2. The credit bureau(s) should process an inquiry to CSII. If the account cannot be located in our data base, our office will request that the account be deleted from the credit bureau(s).
Should you require CSII to locate the account in order to resolve the issue, we request that you please furnish additional information.
Account number
Address
City, State, Zip
Last four digits of SSN
Drivers license number and state
Thank you."
My question is, how can they respond to a DV with asking me to furnish to them more information about the alleged account? What is my next course of action? I have experienced a debt being validated, and an offer to delete, but I have never before seen a debt validation get answered by a CA's request for me to personally validate the debt! I know that if I send them any information, that will be acknowledging the debt, and they win. So do I forward the CA's letter to the credit bureaus?

Send it again and tell them that they are suppoosed to provide information to you. Keep all reciepts, you may end up in court.

Can you or anyone offer an example of a reply?

Hi Texas
Since the collection agency have asked you to dispute it with the bureaus, you can send a dispute letter to the credit bureaus. The credit bureaus will verify the debt with the collection agency and get it removed from the report. You can find a sample debt validation letter by visiting the link letters of credit.

The CA could not locate your account without certain information and so they are asking you for the same. You can first call them up and inquire about the matter, but never send them sensitive information like your ss number or your license number. I think that they may not have any proof that they own the debt and so they could not validate it. Therefore, you should dispute the listing with the credit bureaus and the bureaus will get it removed.
