Report them
You guys need to report Interim cash to the Better Business Bureau and the Federal Trade Commission. They are being investigated for fraudulent practices. You can file both complaints on line.
Thanks a lot for the information Sherry. We will for sure report them. I hope the others will as well.
Hopefully, the more reports the better, then the information will be out there to warn others too.
Everyone has to be willing to report. some people tend to think what will my one report do to make a difference. It makes a big difference because if everyone said that same thing then nobody would know what kind of wolves are out there.
SO let us start from here. Whoever has personal experience or knows about this place go ahead and report it. Of course your claim should be valid.
This company is also known as BIG limited and Cash today Limited and Cash2Day4U. They are highly illegal and the best way to deal with them is to file complaints with you state AG, BBB and the FTC, all these offices would be interested in hearing what you have to say about this company. I would suggest if at all possible DO NOT talk to them if they happen to call. Let the phone call go to voice mail.
That last post was from me, deeannstudent, originally from debt forums.
Hi dstudent
Welcome to the forum :).
Thanks a lot for your suggestion.
Ripped off
I also took a 200 dollar loan from this company in 2006. I repaid this loan over and over costing me over 1000 dollars in bank fees.May 06 2008 this same company calls me and says I owe them over 6000 dollars in fees which caused me to just hang up the phone in shock. The next day these people call my supervisor and tell him that if i dont return their phone call in 1 hour they will call my HR department and have my wages garnished.I return their phone call and they tell me they will settle for 1650.I tell them i need to speak to an attorney because this doesnt seem legal and after going back and forth for several minutes they say they will settle for 400 dollars.I dont feel I should pay another dime and closed my bank account today. They still had access to my account and tried unsuccessfully to obtain 75 dollars costing me yet again more bank fees. What can I do?
Hi Rey,
I think you should immediately contact your attorney and make a complain against the company to the FTC. The FTC complain form can be obtained from the link https://rn.ftc.gov/pls/dod/wsolcq$.startup.
how do they want you to pay it?

Does anyone know the phone number for Global Financial Services? They told me I could pay off my loan for $35 per pay and would take off $50 after every 5 payments (I originally borrowed $300; when I closed my checking account, they couldn't get money and after them offering the above, saying I owed $1000 with fees, I stupidly gave them my new account information, being relieved that this would get paid off). This has been going on for about a year now and I'm tired of them taking money from me, with apparently no end in sight. I live in Ohio and would appreciate any help in rectifying this.
Hi glossygirl
I found the following address and phone number for Global financial Services
Address: 1 State Street, 21st
New York, NY 10004
Phone No: 212-480-4900
Your original credit amount was 300$ has increased to $ 1000 now according to them. Now the question is whether they had taken more than $ 1000 from your checking account or not. If they have already taken away $1000 and still charging your account, make a complaint to the FTC and the states AG's office.
You will want to contact your bank and tell them that you do not authorize any more deductions from your checking account from this company. You have paid them enough.

You are not clear with your thoughts,
will you give more information.
So I can help you out in this matter.
Foreclosure
Mkae sure this is done pronto. If you don't stop it they never will. It sometimes takes a little leg work but I am sure you will see the worth in that.
I think they are trying to recover money that was deducted from their account and they want it back.
I must have read it wrong. Thanks for the correction.
i used to work for the to$$ers.

I think I prefer to be clueless.
sometimes that is best
I will agree with that.
Interim Cash is driving me nuts!!
They called this morning and told me I had a loan from 2007 that hadn't been paid and they were going to seek legal action to get the funds out of my paycheck (which they won't be able to do since I'm voluntarily unemployed and b/c you can only garnish wages for student loans & child support.)
I pleaded with the guy to send me info IN THE MAIL regarding the loan and THEN I would address the issue and repay, but he refused to do so claiming they didn't send anything through the mail. I can only assume it's a scam. I think I did use them once in like '06 and paid them back. But I do not recall having another loan with them after that initial one. And, they were using my maiden name and a bank account I haven't had in 5 years!!!
Michelle, this sounds really shady. Do you have documents that show you repaid back in 2006? Just to be on the safe side I would make sure I had them. In any case if they do not validate that debt then you do n ot have to pay it. They are required to send you verification by mail..no matter what they say. If I was you I would send them a debt validation letter by CERTIFIED mail with return receipt...this way they either have to validate your debt or get lost..my guess is they will get lost.
Hi michelle
Since they have called you have over the phone, they need to send you a debt validation notice within 5 days from the date of your first communication, else you should not bother about the call. Alternatively you can pull out your credit report to find out whether the debt is listed in your credit report or not. If it is listed in your credit report, you can send them a DV letter by certified mail. If they can properly validate the debt, then only you should proceed forward towards repaying the debt.
Debt validation would mean that the CA must prove that the OC has sold off the debt to him or has transferred the right to collect the debt to the CA. In addition to this they must also send you the outstanding bills which will let you know how much you owe and to whom you owe. If they validate the debt properly within 30 days of receipt then its OK and you may negotiate for a discount on the debt and repay the debt by coming to a repayment plan.
Mary..quick question here. I has always thought it was 30 days to verify a debt..so if contact is made by phone and the person asks for them to varify that time is cut down to 5 days? If so I was unaware of this.
I was told by heritage that I have 30 business days, I know it is 30 business days, I always thought that weekends count, but they don't.
Only if they send you a debt validation notice by post, within 5 days of communication over phone, these 5 days will be calculated within the 30 days time span for you to ask for debt validation. You can ask for debt validation within this 25 days and they need to validate the date within 30 days of the receipt of your debt validation letter.

I have a 900.00 loan to this co. they said if I pay 40 every 2 weeks for 5 paychecks they will forget the rest except that my payments start all over until I get it all paid because all I am paying is the interest. I told them I cannot do anything right now because I just had surgery and am not back to work yet. how can they get blood from a turnip?
Believe me they somehow find a way. Thats a new saying to me. I was always told "you can't get hair off a toad". lol
wow, who is the loan company, that is a pretty good deal.
BUT...
except that my payments start all over until I get it all paid because all I am paying is the interest.
Now what does that mean? Does that mean once the 5 paychecks have been paid out of and the interest still isn't paid then this same process begins all over again. I am not sure what is meant by that part of the post. Could be a wolf in little girls clothing.
If the company won't give you an address they probaly won't give the information to the credit bureas either. If they are reporting to the credit agancies then send the agancies a investigation letter telling them they will not give you their address. The credit agency will then delete the account if they don't reply or respond to their request. And they won't reply, because they are aware that if they do thatinformation will be given to you. I had to do this with a couple of those internet pay day loan sharks. Stay away from them at all cost.

The writer in August is right!
If you had a debt, please check because chances are you have repaid it in full and they are still taking your money.
Once a loan is repaid they NEVER stop the automatic withdrawal from your account.
Charming man owns this company!!! Google him and check his background - very interesting reading.
Who is charmong man? I have never heard of this person. I agree that sometimes creditors will try to collect on a debt twice. I always urge any member or visitor of this site to keep their records in a safe place. This ncludes any and all correspondence with collectors and creditors. Mostly any signed contract or agreement showing an amount that was agreed upon and proof that it was paid.

Interim Cash Explained
BIG/ Cash Today/ Route 66, Interim Cash/ GFSIL were all part of the Heathmill group of companies run by Aaron Gershfield, Lorraine Coombes, Marc Surrey, Darren Webb, and Dan Craddock out of Northway House in London, England. For a $200 loan, you would by deafult, pay only a $80 "processing fee" every two weeks forever . . . UNLESS you called and authorised them to take the full $280 back on your first payday after taking out the loan. None of the "processing fees" went towards the repayment of the loan principal so many customers paid several $80 fees, sometimes totalling thousands of dollars, but still maintained the initial $200 loan balance. And THAT is how they made money. Fortunately, the entire lending operation was shut down after an FTC lawsuit last year after Gershfield was forced to pay a $1m fine for violating lending laws. You can read all about it on the FTC's website. If you pull the actual lawsuit and filings from the Nevada court (available online), you will see just how calculated this enterprise was. Everything was geared around making money and then not paying any tax on that money. They are now using the income generated from the payday loan business to run new businesses in the UK under the names of Eyecare International and Bodycare International. These are mobile testing trailers which go around local businesses and perform health checks on staff, for a fee. Look out for these ventures if they ever come on the USA. They are not businesses I would personally deal with because I know the type of tactics these people use to collect money "owed" to them.
Payday SCAM Explained
Route 66 Funding/BIG/ Cash Today/ Interim Cash/ GFSIL were all part of the Heathmill group of companies run by Aaron Gershfield, Lorraine Coombes, Marc Surrey, Darren Webb, and Dan Craddock out of Northway House in London, England. For a $200 loan, you would by deafult, pay only a $80 "processing fee" every two weeks forever . . . UNLESS you called and authorised them to take the full $280 back on your first payday after taking out the loan. Of course, even if you DID call, the $80 would come out anyway.
None of the "processing fees" went towards the repayment of the loan principal so many customers paid several $80 fees, sometimes totalling thousands of dollars, but still maintained the initial $200 loan balance so the "processing fees" would build up forever. At the time, there was a parallel criminal investigation conducted by the FBI but that was suspended pending the outcome of the civil suit with the FTC. Now that has been settled, the criminal probe will have resumed.
They are now using the untaxed, hidden, income generated from the payday loan business to run new businesses in the UK under the names of Eyecare International and Bodycare International. These are mobile testing trailers which go around local businesses and perform health checks on staff, for a fee. Look out for these ventures if they ever come on the USA.
